10 TYPE OF PEOPLE YOU MEET IN A BRT OR MOLUE (OMNI BUS) IN LAGOS.

As you know, commuting in Lagos especially on working days is not an easy one. From standing at the bus stop for hours, to running from one point to another to get on bus. Most times, the savior of the day is always the long buses which can either be Molue or BRT. They are saviors because, they move more passengers and of course, the price is cheap. Commuters who ply Lagos-Abeokuta exp. way, Lagos-Ikorodu, Obalende/CMS etc are no ignorance of this facts. Well, been a regular customer (make God answer prayer, make I buy my ride soon), I am able to draw out some funny characters I have met on these buses.

1. The Pervert: These are mostly men but sometimes, the female folks too can be crazy. These dudes have enough money to get on a small bus even if the fee is doubled the usual price or  chatter a plane to their destination if possible, but they won’t. They get to the bus stop on time but would rather wait till the bus is filled and join the standing committee. They immediately stand behind a lady with big bum and rub their kini on her, thereby releasing their thick akamuMost times, they don’t escape without receiving a factory reset slap.

Eight Years Since Leaving Secondary School.

This month makes it exactly 8years since we all said goodbye to secondary school. We left a uniform wearing world to face life challenges as grownups. Let me use this opportunity and platform to reflect on life in OGS (Okota Grammar School), the reason why we exist together.

We all walked into the school some 14yrs ago as toddlers, without a goal or target, we just walked in to continue the script given to us, that after primary school comes secondary. Different kids from different backgrounds, some tall, some short, some are good while some are not. We managed to understand each other and choose our allies based on personal interests, we followed the flow and some became more than just friends but family.

Four Reasons Why It Is Better to Be an Apprentice Rather Than Going to College

A long time ago, apprenticeships were necessary for construction and similar jobs that required learning through practice. With the increased popularity of college degrees, this type of learning fell in the shade. Nowadays, a degree seems to be more important than practice. Apprenticeship is seen as the “second best” alternative to an undergraduate degree, and it’s usually linked to vocational qualifications.

Here comes the surprise: some of the most successful entrepreneurs were once apprentices. Laurence Graff (a famous English jeweler and owner of a multibillion business), popular chef Jamie Oliver, Sir Ian McKellen, Stella McCartney… the list can go on. Although apprenticeship is seen as a not-so-good alternative to a university degree, it still holds tons of benefits.

Here are 4 reasons why it is a good thing to be an apprentice:

1. You Gain Real Experience Earlier than People Who Go to University

When you decide to be an apprentice in the industry of your choice, you start gaining practical experience way earlier than your friends who carry on with their education. You will become independent and you’ll get an opportunity for making career progress. Four years from now, the best students will be graduating. Most of them will take longer. By that point, you’ll already be further on your career path.

If you’re productive enough, you’ll have enough time to combine your apprenticeship with actual studies. You can sign up for part-time studies or an online degree and do the studying in your free time. Unlike most of the people who go to college or university, you’ll be paying for your own studies. That’s a huge accomplishment for a young person.

cyber crimes: Internet act that could send you to prison.

The Nigerian communications Commission (NCC) has warned Nigerians that the cyberspace is not aan venue to promote hatred as there are laws guiding against such.

This was made known by Mr Tony Ojobo, the director of public affairs of the commission on Monday, February 22 during a discussion on what the new media has to do with cybercrime act.

The programme which was part of the week-long Social Media Week was geared towards examining the issue of cybercrime and how it affects the new media. Ojobo who was part of the discussant explained that a lot of laws were available which internet users have failed to familiarize themselves with. He
noted that people misuse the cyberspace by making xenophobic, comments, hate speech which are contrary to what is allowed.

He cited an example that if a person receives contents that contained child
pornography and shares with other persons using the internet; the person is
likely to go to prison even though he did not produce the material.

Speaking with naij.com, The NCC public affairs director encouraged the use of the cyberspace with sense. “Developed countries don’t want regulation of the internet but it is necessary in developing countries to prevent cyber-crimes. Nigerians are not reading the law which is why media users, bloggers and journalist are sometimes sent to prison when they don’t get their facts right.”
Ojobo explained that the laws were not there to deny Nigerians their freedom
of expression but to prevent people from inciting hatred.

10 things you need to know about the #50 stamp duty.

As expected, many Nigerians have expressed theirdissatisfaction on the announcement by CBN instructing all DMBs (Deposit Money Banks) in the country to place a N50 charge on every transaction from N1,000.

In order to avoid any further confusion, here is what you need to know about the CBN’s N50 stamp duty:

1. It is an Act that was passed into law called the Stamp Duties Act 2004 and Federal Government Financial Regulations 2009, but now being implemented in 2016.

2. The Stamp Duty charge is not being imposed by the Banks, but by the Federal government through the CBN.

3. The imposition of the Stamp Duties Act at this time is to enhance the governments revenue generation drive which has become necessary due to the fall in global oil prices.

Ancient bible claims Jesus Christ was not crucified.

A 1500-year-old Bible found in Turkey claims Jesus Christ was not crucified

– It also states he was not the son of God but a Prophet

– Religious authorities insist that the book is authentic

Earth-shattering news are coming from various websites! The 1500-year-old Bible, which was discovered in Ankara, Turkey’s capital, in 2000, refutes the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Moreover, it says that he was not the son of God but a Prophet, who didn’t die and ascended into heaven alive.

The 1500-year-old bible was found in Turkey, in the Ethnography Museum of Ankara
It also states that it was Judas Iscariot who was actually crucified and calls Apostle Paul the Impostor. This information was taken from the gospel of Barnabas, who in this work is one of the twelve apostles.

Teenage boy impregnated 16 girls in a pool.

16 young teenage girls between the age of 13 and 17 years of age have become pregnant after a pool party went terribly wrong, reports the Tallahassee Herald
this morning.

A simple weekend pool party turned to tragedy when one of the young men (Tommy Coulter) attending the birthday celebration ejacu.lated in the pool without warning the house guests, accidentally ending up impregnating half of the girls present at the celebration.
“I’m glad I didn’t have my swimsuit that day,” remembers Daliah Jennings, present during the celebration. “It was a surprise party to celebrate my 15th birthday, let’s just say that a baby in my womb is the kind of present I’m glad I didn’t get” she acknowledges, visibly relieved of not getting pregnant.
“Nothing like an or.gy” Tommy Coulter claims there was no se.x at the party
at all and that he only ejacu.lated in the pool by accident.

“Some people in town say we had some kind of wild se.x org.y going on and that’s how I got all those girls pregnant, but I’m proud to say that I am still a vir.gin
and that if anyone doesn’t believe me, I’m ready to undergo medical examination to prove it if that’s what
it takes,” says the 15 year old. “I’ve become some sort of a local celebrity. People come up to me all the time and shake my hand and congratulate me, but I didn’t do anything!” he adds, visibly sincere. “Highly” potent sperm Dr. John Suzukima of Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare Hospital, who was the first to link the multiple births to a single cause, believes Tommy Coulter has a rare medical condition called spermafortis which makes his semen unusually potent.
“Clinical tests have proven that people who suffer from spermafortis have sperm counts close to a thousand times more potent and rich in spermatozoids
than the average man,” he explains. “This kind of semen is fairly similar to that of common water mammals, such as dolphins, manatees and seals and has properties that make it incredibly resistant to water. This condition could definitely explain what happened in this case but clinical trials and further tests would be needed to prove this theory,” he told local reporters.

Most of the 16 girls are scheduled to undergo anabortion although two of the impregnated girls’ families have reportedly admitted that they have decided to bring the birth to term being devout Christians.

See this new anti-rape condom.

Rape-axe condoms are designed to wear like tampons. The inner portion contains teeth. Once a penis enters into it, it gets stuck and only doctors can remove it. Girls can get the time to escape. Dr. Sonnet Ehlers who worked with rape victims for four decades believes her product would discourage rapists. Once the spikes containing condom gets hooked on, it
creates terrible pain making the person even unable to walk. That may give time to the victim to escape easily.

See what C.Ronaldo revealed he would love to steal from Messi

Cristiano Ronaldo has been asked to pick one quality he’d like from Lionel Messi - and he’s given an honest answer.
The Real Madrid star, along with his Barcelona rivals Messi and Neymar, was speaking at the Ballon d’Or pre-award show press conference on Monday where the Argentine is heavily expected to win the trophy for the fifth time in his career.
Both Messi and Ronaldo were asked which quality they would take from each other, and the Portugal international admitted: “Yes, his left foot his really good, I would like to have that!”
Messi, meanwhile, was a bit more vague.
“What Cristiano has is lots of quality, lots of good things that every player would like as well,” said the Barcelona forward.
“But I am the way I am, and he is the way he is. We each have individual personalities and we have both very good things that everybody should have as footballers.”
Neymar was a bit more humble and admitted he would like to have feet from both Messi and Ronaldo.
